Securing India’s Critical Information Infrastructure

Delhi August 26, 2025
In Partnership with APCO Worldwide, we hosted an exclusive, closed-door roundtable discussion on ‘Securing India’s Critical Information Infrastructure’.
As India advances its ambitious digital transformation, the security of our national backbone is paramount. Recent years have seen a sharp increase in sophisticated cyberattacks targeting India’s critical information and telecommunication infrastructure across sectors like energy, finance, healthcare, and defence, thus creating a significant and growing threat to our economic stability and national security.
This roundtable convened a select group of senior leaders from government and industry to assess India’s cybersecurity posture and collaboratively develop a strategic framework for action. It is intended to create a knowledge bridge and bring together key stakeholders extensively involved and experienced in the sector, its developments, particularly the IoT-enabled devices deploying machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, to discuss the national and economic security risks and challenges emerging out of over-dependence on adversary countries for deployment in India’s critical infrastructure sectors.
Key Focus Areas for Discussion:
- Strengthening the National Cybersecurity Ecosystem
- Securing the Digital Supply Chain
- Greater Collaboration to Safeguard Critical Services
- Enhancing Regulatory and Governance Frameworks
- Rethinking Procurement: From Lowest Cost to Highest Trust
